I have worked as a professional artist my entire adult life. I am constantly painting and frequently have my work included in art shows and galleries.

I have always loved the diversity of 人才 and thought among the students and 教师 here at Solebury, 我从1993年开始在那里教书. I have tremendous freedom to teach to the individual student. Whether it is a beginning artist or someone putting a portfolio together for one of the top art programs in the nation, I get to share my love of art with them. The creative process is so important – I firmly believe that it helps young people in ways that extend far beyond the walls of the art studio. It helps them appreciate different perspectives, 这有助于他们解决问题, and it helps them understand the value of making mistakes. All these lessons are important whether it is in painting, in math, in history, or in life.
